The latest round up of people moves include VideoAmp, Twitch, Pubmatic, ITV, Sainsbury’s.

VideoAmp has announced staff cuts of around 20%, which will affect around 50-60 people.

The media measurement firm said the redundancies are due to introducing AI agents and includes the chief technology officer role – currently held by Dustin Jackson – which will not be replaced, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The firm will move toward a flatter structure to boost efficiency and build agentic infrastructure.

Tony Fagan, chief executive of VideoAmp, said in a statement: “These were difficult decisions, but they reflect our long-standing approach of adapting early to major changes in the market.

“We believe AI is a major platform shift, and our view is that companies that adopt it quickly will benefit disproportionally. For VideoAmp, that means continuing to invest in agentic software development and becoming an AI-powered media performance platform – aligning our organisation, resources, and operating model to support that direction.”
