The latest round up of people moves include Entain, WPP, Sky Media, and Publicis Groupe.
Entain‘s chief marketing officer, Charlotte Emery, has left her position.
Entain, owner of Ladbrokes and Coral, is in the process of recruiting a new marketing head after a “mutually agreed” transition, with Emery working with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition.
Emery, who been at the company for two years, led the betting giant’s media account move to Omnicom’s PHD, from independent agency the7stars.
Bejay Patel, managing director of Entain UK, paid tribute to Emery: “Charlotte has played a significant role in the continued growth and development of our UK brands – Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala, and Foxy – leading the marketing function with passion and energy over the last two years.
“We would like to thank her for her contribution and wish her every success in the future.”
The news comes as Entain makes significant reductions in staff. In the past two months 500 jobs have been cut, equating to roughly 2% of its workforce – a u-turn from previous claims that the positions were safe.
As such it is unclear whether Emery is leaving to fill another role.
