Tech briefing: Affinity, Amazon, Bitget wallet, and Dignus

a,azon, bitget wallet, affinity

All the latest tech updates and product releases that affiliate marketers should know about.

In the latest tech briefing, Affiliate Leaders rounds up the top product releases from the few weeks, and why this matters to marketers.

This week we analyse Amazon DSP‘s new service that supports Google Ad Manager creatives; Adrenalen‘s new ad platform for live sport, NucleusLinks new product feeds; and Bitget wallet launches an affiliate programme.

Amazon DSP makes Google Ad Manager deals in 33 markets

Amazon DSP now supports publisher-hosted creatives for Google Ad Manager.

The deal will enable media buyers to run programmatic guaranteed deals in Google Ad Manager without shipping the ad file through Amazon’s systems.

This move extends the reach of the e-commerce giant’s demand-side platform inventory, which previously had been out of reach.

Advertisers can bid on inventory inside the publisher’s ad server, where creative assets are hosted, instead of being delivered through Amazon DSP or a third-party ad server. It is available for both display and video formats.

The company stated that publisher-hosted creatives “unlock access to premium inventory from broadcasters, news platforms, and major publishers that require creative assets to be hosted on their side” for format, delivery, or compliance.

Reported fees are nill on programmatic guaranteed Amazon-owned media and almost 1% on third-party inventory.

It will be available in 33 markets including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Australia, India, Japan, among others.

Leaders take

Amazon is looking to consolidate. The new capability will help advertisers bring their programmatic guaranteed buying together in a single platform. One page will now hold billing settings, admin, invoices, and both editor and viewer roles.

This will lower the barrier for mid-size sellers to run display along with sponsored products without an agency seat. It will also make it easier for advertisers to assess their campaigns and offerings, making it much simpler to see if one country or product line is carrying a particular loss.

Adrenalen Group launches ad platform for live sport

Adrenalen Group, a sport and media technology business, has unveiled a new ad platform for brands to reach audiences watching live sport in clubs, pubs, and hospitality venues in Australia.

This will expand Adrenalen’s sport and media presence in the market by using its sporting broadcast distribution and large-format LED technology to bring commercial partners to consumers.

Adrenalen Group chief executive, Mark Sturdy, commented on the benefits of moving beyond traditional digital and TV ad channels. He said: “Live sport in venues creates something digital advertising can’t replicate – a captive, emotionally engaged audience sharing the moment together.

“For brands, that creates an opportunity to be part of the experience rather than simply interrupting it.”

Leaders take

This new offering from Adrenalen Group capitalises on the commercial dynamics of sports viewing as a community-driven activity, positioning venue screens as active engagement tools rather than passive broadcast displays.

It provides a great opportunity for brands to connect with their audiences. They can also target audiences throughout the day, from the work lunch crowd through the afternoon trade, into the prime sport and night-time audience. And, unlike other advertising formats, there is no scrolling, skipping, ad blocking or waiting for a break in play – the ads sits alongside the game.

NucleusLinks launches product feeds

NucleusLink, an affiliate marketing software platform, has launched product feeds. This is a new product data infrastructure layer, which aims to help publishers standardise, activate, and enrich merchant data at scale.

The product feed will exist inside the Affinity ecosystem, and will pair with NucleusLink’s smart buttons feature – a tool for live pricing modules, comparison tables, and dynamic widgets.

Cornelius Frey, NucleusLinks chief executive, said: “Erroneous product data and outdated pricing data, even by a few hours, are among the most harmful conversion killers – eroding user trust post-click-out. We are solving this silent but mighty problem for publishers and platforms with advanced streaming and AI technology as of today.”

Leaders take

Accurate, real-time data is the cornerstone of affiliate marketing, with live pricing, product images, and stock status crucial to converting traffic. Stale product information erodes customer trust and harms conversion rates. NucleusLink’s new product feed looks to use a wealth of product data to keep consumers informed at scale – something which is lacking in this performance marketing channel.

Bitget wallet launches affiliate programme

Bitget, a crypto wallet, has launched an affiliate programme, which will offer up to 60% commission on trading activity. The programme will give structured commission access to creators and influencers in the trading and payments industry.

This will be one of the first self-custodial wallets to partner affiliate earnings with financial behaviours and community sentiment.

There are two payment tracks in the programme with affiliates able to earn commission on crypto trades (including token swaps and perpetuals), as well as bonuses for new card holder referrals and an uncapped rebate on the cardholder’s spending.

Alvin Kan, chief executive, Bitget Wallet, said: “We structured this around daily activities, giving creators commission opportunities across both trading and payments reflects where crypto is heading — everyday financial utility.

“Creators closest to their communities are best positioned to bring that shift to real users. Financial access has always spread through trust and community, and the next hundred million people who use crypto as everyday money will find it through someone they already trust.”

Leaders take

This represents a shift from crypto into payments and a broader range of services. There are plenty of crypto providers across the board, and plenty of influencers promoting them. But Bitgit’s advantage comes in the commission programme with the 60% commission having no volume floor, which is uncommon.

The bonuses and uncapped rebate on spending for referred users will be a pull for users, but could escalate into a scenario where referring new customers is more profitable than the trading platform itself. These types of deals are all-too common for crypto platforms, so Bitgit will have to put measures in place to avoid this.

Other notable tech offerings

Amazon DSP is opening Netflix inventory to its advertisers, which will be available through private auctions and programmatic guaranteed deals, but not the open exchange. Advertisers will need a new Netflix-specific deal going forward, as existing deals will not carry over.

PropellerAds has upgraded its NIKO AI Agent, which will see the tool able to help with campaign creation, budgeting, editing, targeting, creative management, and scheduling capabilities.

Diginius has launched Diginius Ads to help agencies develop their marketing with precise B2B audience targeting, which aims to make campaigns more measurable and relevant.

LoopMe is expanding its PurchaseLoop into performance advertising with new cost-per-install and cost-per-acquisition optimisation to help advertisers use audience intelligence through their brand campaigns to inform lower-funnel advertising.

Spotify is introducing a new label for AI-generated artist identities, with AI persona badges added to artist profiles. This will tell listeners when the artist may be an AI generated, and will be applied to profiles other than those that are self-disclosed.
