This week’s people moves include Dilanti Media, OpenAI, Polymarket, and TikTok.
Dilanti Media has appointed Daniel Prado as its new chief executive officer. The current chief executive, Johan Styren, will transition into chair of the board.
Prado will take over responsibilities for the company’s day-to-day operations, as well as, business performance and execution of strategy.
Styren will continue to be actively involved in long-term strategic planning for the company, and will have a focus on identifying and developing new business areas, products, and opportunities for growth.
Daniel Prado, new chief executive said: “I’m grateful for the trust Johan and the board have placed in me. Dilanti Media has a great team and a strong foundation, and my priority is to build on it by strengthening our core business, improving how we execute, and growing into new areas.”

Pinterest: Claude Palacios starts as agency lead
Claude Palacios has joined Pinterst in a new role as agency lead. Palacios previously worked for Publicis Groupe agencies Starcom and Spark Foundry.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “Wrapping up my first two weeks, after Pinterest Presents yesterday, I feel even more inspired for this next chapter.“

Jellyfish: Joe Boon is now head of media growth
Jellyfish has promoted Joe Boon to head of media growth for the UK.
He joined Jellyfish in January 2024 as senior director of growth. He has also held positions at Propel Digital and Merkle.

Google: John Carr joins as regional product manager
Google has hired John Carr as regional product manager for YouTube.
He has previously worked at both Meta and Microsoft, as regional sales manager and commercial director respectively.
At the same time, Chris Marino, head of agency for Google, has left the company.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “For as long as I can remember, working at Google was a career goal of mine. Now that I’ve had the chance to be part of it, I can appreciate why. It’s one of the most special places I’ve ever worked.”

OpenAI: Danielle Hawley hired as global head of creative
Danielle Hawley has joined OpenAI as the new global head of creative, after six and a half years at Uber.
Amy Flaskett has also been hired as part of the go-to-market team for OpenAI’s ads solutions.
She wrote on LinkedIn: “ChatGPT has already become something of a trusty sidekick in more ways than I expected, so getting the chance to now be on the other side of it, helping shape what advertising looks like here from the outset, is a pretty exciting place to be.”

Flywheel: Kim Hutchinson gets promoted
Flywheel has promoted Kim Hutchinson to senior director of commerce after nine years at the company.
Her new role will cover commerce strategy, team leadership, client partnerships, and collaboration across functions supporting digital commerce and retail media.

Polymarket: Collin McKinney Hill joins as VP of operations
Collin McKinney Hill has joined Polymarket after almost six years at DoorDash. McKinney Hill will be Polymarket’s vice president of operations.
He confirmed on LinkedIn: “The vision at Polymarket is bold, the opportunity is enormous, and I can’t wait to get to work with the team. Onwards!”

TikTok: Vishakha Rao joins as vertical manager
Vishakha Rao has joined TikTok as the new vertical manager, head of tech, apps, and gaming.
She said on LinkedIn: “Beyond being a powerhouse for business growth, TikTok has personally been my go-to destination for fashion and travel inspiration, and I couldn’t be more excited to help our partners in tech, telco, apps, and gaming shape culture and drive massive impact on the platform.”

Leadfeeder: Brad Noble joins as board observer
Brad Noble has been appointed as a board observer for LeadFeeder. Noble comes with experience as an IBM and ZoomInfo executive, with extensive experience in software and marketing agencies.
Kevin McIntyre chief executive of Leadfeeder said: “Brad is someone I have worked with in several capacities over the years, and he thinks about product and marketing in a way that few people do. He is a builder and a sharp thinker, and having him in the room as we work through our next phase of growth will make our decisions better.”
