All the latest tech updates and product releases that affiliate marketers should know about.
In the latest tech briefing, Affiliate Leaders rounds up the top product releases from the pastfew weeks, and why this matters to marketers.
This week we analyse Comcast’s new unified TV Ad platform; LoopMe‘s expansion of PurchaseLoop to include performance advertising; LTK’s development of a new expanded brand platform experience; and Klook’s expansion of creator access with a single-link affiliate marketing tool.
Comcast builds unified TV ad platform
Comcast has partnered with Tracer to create a unified operational layer for Universal Ads.
This partnership will look to give brands tools to create, buy, and measure TV ads that offer real-time visibility on campaign performance and revenue.
The deal will help Comcast test and tweak self-serve and automated TV ad tools – building its AI and data infrastructure as it develops.
Leaders take
TV is consistently ranked as one of the most trusted advertising verticals, and Comcast’s US based media and technology company has a market cap of roughly $95bn – cementing this expansion into TV ads as a significant development for telecoms.
While this expansion may seem to be about TV Ads, it really says more about AI and data. The deal is an illustration of Comcast’s prioritisation of AI assisted media and connectivity products.
This follows a wider industry trend of seeking real-time, clean, actionable data from campaigns and revenue to facilitate quick responses when ad demand changes.
LoopMe expands PurchaseLoop
Brand performance company, LoopMe, is expanding PurchaseLoop to develop new cost-per-install (CPI) as well as cost-per-acquisition (CPA) optimisation.
The expansion will bring two activation tracks. The first is the performance app, which will optimise in-app actions and app installs. The second, performance web, will optimise acquisitions, sign-ups, leads, and return on adspend (ROAS).
Both will combine live brand campaign intelligence with in-app behavioural data – bringing together over 50,000 direct app integrations with audience engagement signals.
Andy Sophocli, vice president agency partnerships at LoopMe, said: “By extending into CPI and CPA optimisation, we’re connecting that intelligence to lower-funnel outcomes and giving advertisers a more joined-up way to manage brand and performance.
“For existing customers, there’s an immediate advantage because that audience understanding already exists; for new customers, it becomes richer with every campaign.”
Leaders take
The expansion will provide advertisers with the opportunity to measure performance through advertiser’s mobile measurement partner (MMP). This will help advertisers break free from reliance on platform-reported metrics, and allow them to evaluate their campaigns against their own conversion data. This is turn will also help them drive lower-funnel performance advertising.
LTK expands brand platform experience
Creator commerce developer, LTK, has launched a new agentic experience to expand how marketers can build and scale creator campaigns.
The interface, which is an AI-native LTK brand platform, will allow brands to describe their goals. From there, LTK intelligence will help them develop campaigns, track creators, launch and optimise programmes, and advise on how to proceed.
Amber Venz Box, co-founder and president of LTK, said: “We’re introducing an agentic creator marketing experience that lets a brand move from a business objective toward a launch-ready campaign through conversation, replacing hours or even weeks of searching, configuring and co-ordinating with an intelligent workflow. This changes how creator marketing teams can operate, allowing them to focus on strategy and growth.”
Leaders take
Influencer marketing began largely as individual campaigns, but it is becoming an always-on marketing channel requiring brands to activate and manage much larger networks of creators. LTK research shows the number of creators brands invest in has increased by more than 275%.
The new agentic tools adds an intelligent, conversational layer that can help take a marketer from business objective to actionable campaign in minutes. It also helps remove friction for advertisers, and will give marketers, who are already stretched thin, to focus on strategy and growth.
Other notable tech developments
Klook has launched its single-link affiliate storefront, Kreator Shops, for open use. This expands the pilot from just 150 ‘kreators; to 30,000 creators from 88 markets. This means a consolidated link with creator’s travel recommendations will be provided on just one social-post link, eliminating the need for a long list of links.
Margex has opened its affiliate programme to all marketers. This was previously operated on an invite-only basis. The programme uses earnings per million (EPM), with total payouts then calculated by referred trading volume. This can earn a partner median of $250 per $1m in referred trades.
Meta has launched Muse – a personal AI agent. If widely adopted, this could change the game for marketers, who may find themselves having to optimise their campaigns to prioritise generative-engines rather than human audiences.
Blue Frontier has launched an insights tool for AI business intelligence. The features will help decisionmakers with data reports from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini to provide insight into how their brand is perceived.
