The latest round up of people moves include The Trade Desk, Netflix, Tug Agency and Microsoft.

The Trade Desk’s chief revenue officer, Anders Mortensen, has exited the company after just seven months in the role.

This comes during a turbulent time for the firm, with an ‘exodus’ of executives leaving the organisation – with the appointment of four chief financial officers, and the losses of at least four board members.

This is sparking concern amongst senior executives and shareholders, with the turnover affecting all but COO Vivek Kundra, chief legal officer Jay Grant, and its new CFO Nate Olmstead remain.

Other notable people moves:

Netflix: Jay Hoag as chair

Streaming giant Netflix has named Jay Hoag as its new chair following the exit of long-serving predecessor and co-founder Reed Hastings.

Hoag co-founded TCV, a growth equity firm which has been an investor in Netflix for years. He also currently serves on the boards of both Peloton Interactive, and Zillow Group.

Microsoft: Reid Hoffman steps down

Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, has stepped down from the board of Microsoft. He has decided not to stand for re-election, after serving on the board since 2017.

Microsoft has confirmed this decision was not the result of a disagreement on any matter relating to policy or operations.
