Coral has released its latest campaign to celebrate the unwavering support and idiosyncratic behaviour inherent in football fans.
This week, Coral has unveiled its latest campaign, ‘Services to Football’.
The ad, created by Wonderhood Studios, focuses on Coral’s Reward Shaker, putting it into the hands of football fans. The ad sees football fans appreciated for their ‘‘Services to Football’, playing with the idea of giving official recognition to those behind the scenes.
The ad features a spectacle of a state ceremony, paying tribute to the quirks and fun idiosyncrasies of football supporters. It features former footballer and Coral ambassador Jimmy Bullard.
Amongst those recognised are the ‘get the badge in’ Stone Island wearers, the holiday viewers, the stewards, and the half-and-half scarf wearers.
Chris Brocklehurst, Coral Brand Director commented: “Whether you’re an armchair expert or a die-hard supporter, our latest campaign holds up a mirror to the brilliant, diverse, and hilarious reality of football fandom. We wanted to celebrate fans who follow the beautiful game—and with Jimmy Bullard stepping in as our master of ceremonies to reward them, there’s no better way to pay tribute to the fans, who make the game so special.”

The ad is fun, tongue in cheek, and playful – featuring some of the best of British football fans.
It comes across as a little cheap-looking, thanks to what looks like generative AI (although this is unverified) in the more extravagant scenes.
Unfortunately, this does come across as spammy, something that online betting operators should try to avoid, since a large black-market has unfortunately given the betting industry a reputation for low-quality, scam adverts.
That being said, the inclusion of footballing legend Jimmy Bullard brings a fun dynamic to the ad, providing audiences a familiar face to immediately identify.
The Reward Shaker itself, a free-to-play game giving guaranteed daily rewards is only featured a small amount at the end – which is a good choice as it leaves more time to focus on the more entertaining aspects of the ad itself.
