The latest round up of people moves include Catena Media, Better Collective, Google, and Omnicom.
Catena Media has administered another round of layoffs with regional sites teams across marketing and tech most affected.
The layoffs come as part of a continued effort to streamline operations, with sources claiming the firm’s Q1 2026 reporting showed personnel expenses fell by 18%. Last year, the digital media group’s Annual Report showed it had let go of approximately 25% of its workforce in Q2.
This comes after a period of instability for Catena Media in recent years, which has seen the company’s revenue fall due to the updates from Google, which saw its SEO business take a hit and as has its over-reliance on the US market.
Annual savings from the layoffs are expected to sit at roughly €4.5m to €5.0m (roughly £4.2m), Next.io revealed.
Catena Media is expected to publish its Q2 2026 earnings report next week.
