In the latest round-up of people moves, another top level marketing executive has left TikTok in a round of company cuts.
TikTok’s global head of consumer marketing, Zuber Mohammed, is the latest executive to leave the company following a round of cuts earlier this month.
The scale of the cuts are undetermined at this stage, but are understood to have affected TikTok’s global marketing organisation, Business Insider reports.
Mohammed is the latest in a number of departures in TikTok’s marketing arm. Earlier this month, Sofia Hernandez, global head of business marketing and commercial partnerships also left the company, as well as head of marketing in North America, Rema Vasan.

Barb, a UK audience measurement and trading metrics platform, has appointed a new chief executive in Caroline Baxter. She was previously chief operating officer for Barb.
Baxter confirmed her priorities as chief executive will be in earning trust “by staying independent, staying rigorous, and staying true to what the industry needs”.

Impact.com: Hakan Özal to director sales DACH
Impact.com, an affiliate marketing platform, has appointed Hakan Özal as director of sales DACH.
Özal will lead sales strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, helping brands to integrate creator, referral, affiliate, and B2B partnerships through its platform. Özal previously served as the chair of the Affiliate Marketing Committee within the German Association for the Digital Economy – bringing in experience in shaping industry standards.

Quantcast: Rebecca Rosborough to chief marketing officer
Adtech firm Quantcase has hired Rebecca Rosborough as chief marketing officer. Rosborough has more than 20 years of experience in marketing having spent five years at Teads and another five at MiQ in a similar role.
Rosborough will be responsible for growing Quantcast’s market share in the programmatic space.
Adwanted: Vicki Bloyce to head of marketing
Vicki Bloyce has joined adtech shop Adwanted as head of marketing. Bloyce comes from Omnicom Media Group, where she led a global function across marketing and brand experience.
Going forward, Bloyce will be tasked with shaping and delivering events marketing strategy with Adwanted.

Buddy Media Group: Vicky Wroe and Amelia Burrows join senior team
Buddy Media Group has made two senior hires. Former director of creative and brand operations at Bumble, Vicky Wroe has joined social media agency as managing director; and Amelia Burrows, previously a senior brand experience manager at Global, as group business director.
MG OMD: David Bratt and Tom Nash join
MG OMD, a media agency part of Omnicom, has hired David Bratt as managing director and Tom Nash as its new chief digital and transformation officer.
