The partnership will serve as the backbone for Euronews’ digital coverage of the FIFA World Cup.

STATSCORE has announced what it describes as its “most unique and informative” partnership for the FIFA World Cup 2026, teaming up with pan-European broadcaster Euronews to power coverage of football’s biggest event.

The agreement will see STATSCORE provide its proprietary CupCenter platform to Euronews, the European-wide broadcast network co-owned by Abu Dhabi Media investment company, France Télévisions and RAI (Italia).

The CupCenter will equip Euronews and its reporting teams with real-time match data, statistics, standings, player insights and interactive visualisations throughout the tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The partnership marks a significant showcase for STATSCORE’s sports data technology as media organisations prepare for the surge in audience demand generated by the World Cup, which is expected to attract billions of engagements across digital, social and broadcast channels.

CupCenter has been developed as a dedicated tournament hub, enabling newsrooms to centralise live data feeds, editorial content and interactive features within a single platform. For Euronews, the solution will serve as the backbone of its digital football coverage, allowing journalists to rapidly publish structured match information and data-led stories across multiple languages and markets.

Speaking to Affiliate Leaders, STATSCORE said the partnership represented one of the most ambitious deployments of CupCenter to date in which its will engage World Cup data for Euronews audience of ver 400 million people per month reaching 82% of all households within Europe.

“The World Football Championship is one of the most significant editorial moments of the year, and our audiences across 19 languages expect nothing less than instant, accurate and visually compelling coverage,” said Alexandre Jas, Head of Digital Products at Euronews.

“CupCenter gives our teams exactly that – a reliable, ready-to-deploy platform that turns live data into stories our viewers can engage with from the very first whistle.”

The deal reinforces a growing trend among major news publishers and broadcasters to integrate dedicated sports data infrastructure into editorial operations as audiences increasingly seek live statistics, player performance metrics and interactive content alongside traditional reporting.

According to STATSCORE, CupCenter has already been deployed by leading broadcasters and digital publishers covering major sporting events, providing structured data pipelines, customisable widgets and tournament-focused minisites capable of handling significant traffic volumes.

The company believes the Euronews partnership demonstrates how data-driven storytelling is becoming an essential component of modern sports journalism, particularly during global events such as the World Cup.

“Partnering with Euronews for the World Football Championship is a proud moment for the entire STATSCORE team,” the company told Affiliate Leaders.

“CupCenter was built precisely for events of this magnitude – to give media organisations the infrastructure they need to deliver fast, accurate and engaging football coverage at scale. We are delighted to support Euronews and its multilingual audiences throughout this extraordinary tournament.”
