All the latest tech updates and product releases that affiliate marketers should know about.
In our latest tech briefing, Affiliate Leaders rounds up the top product releases from the last month, and why this matters to marketers.
This month we analyse; IAB’s new agentic ad framework; OpenAI’s new in-app measurement tool; Deliveroo’s new ads tracking, and Open Media‘s ‘Matchday Moments’ launch.
OpenAI integrates with AppsFlyer
OpenAI is integrating with AppsFlyer, a marketing analytics and mobile attribution platform.
The integration will bring in-app measurement to ChatGPT ads, which is expected to boost the firm’s ad business, which Emarketer had forecast would miss targets by around 90%.
With this, brands will be given greater visibility into installs, in-app purchases, and subscriptions with AppsFlyer.
The integration has been tested by over 40 brands across e-commerce and food delivery services, including GrubHub, which has been in the ad pilot since February.
The Appsflyer platform now enables advertisers to attach a deep link to ChatGPT campaigns to smoothly redirect users to specific pages within a website or mobile app.
AppsFlyer is the latest adtech to partner with OpenAI – Criteo, StackAdapt, and LiveRamp are all working with the platform to integrate their tech offerings.

ChatGPT ads is a young vertical, and although it’s not quite hitting the wild expectations that OpenAI had set up for it, the platform is growing. With over one billion active users and a goal of over $2.3bn in ad revenue in 2026, the company is growing its capabilities.
Although it looks unlikely that OpenAI will reach ad revenue goals this year, it’s clear the infrastructure is being built to try and set the platform up for future growth. And many brands are using this opportunity to test it out.
IAB Tech Lab upgrades agentic advertising infrastructure
IAB Tech Lab has released AAMP 2.3, an update to the Agentic Advertising Management Protocol.
This update will help organisations deploy AI agents within the existing ad infrastructure.
In particular, AAMP 2.3 builds on the agentic advertising framework to deliver enterprise-ready deployment, tighter pricing integrity, wider platform support, integrated privacy diligence, while maintaining industry standards.
Anthony Katsur, IAB Tech Lab chief executive, said: “The industry has already shown what’s possible with AI agents. Now, the focus is making them reliable in the environments where advertising actually happens. Organisations need infrastructure they can trust.
“They need AI agents that work across systems, respect consumer privacy regulations, and make decisions with repeatable accuracy. AAMP 2.3 gives the industry that foundation, moving agentic advertising into everyday business.”

Agentic advertising is fast becoming a part of marketers workflows as it helps automate planning, buying, selling and optimisation. This release expands agentic capabilities by making deployments more practical.
It means media buyers, sellers, and publishers will have more flexibility for integrating AI agents into their existing workflows.
Open Media launches ‘Matchday Moments’
Open Media has launched a new out-of-home (OOH) advertising network which connects brands with Premier League fans.
The Premier League has one of the most engaged audiences in the UK. Matchday Moments gives advertisers the ability to move through a curated network of premium OOH sites positioned along key routes to and from stadiums.
The OOH offerings span across the UK’s leading football cities in proximity to stadiums, as well as in high-footfall transport hubs. The network features 11 premium OOH locations, including London, Liverpool, and Manchester – reaching as many as 5.6 million per fortnight.
Mike Smith, chief executive and founder of Open Media said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch Matchday Moments and give brands a new way to connect with football fans during one of the most engaging and emotionally charged moments in their week.
“By bringing together premium locations along those journeys into one scalable, easy-to-buy network, we’re making it simpler than ever for advertisers to reach millions of passionate supporters in a context that really matters. “

The football fanbase is an active and engaged one – and the ritual of attending an in-person match or just around football culture, is something that many treasure. Whether that’s grabbing a coffee at the start of the day, visiting the local barber, a pre-match drink with friends, walking to the ground – millions of fans make the same journey every week, united by a shared passion for the game.
Matchday Moments enables advertisers to become part of that journey, they become part of one of the UK’s most enduring cultural rituals and get in front of a highly engaged audience.
Deliveroo offers Order Tracker for advertisers
Deliveroo media has launched programmatic on-site ads with Google Ad manager. This will enable advertisers to access the Order Tracker page for the first time, and will be available across the UK, Italy, France, and the UAE.
These post-checkout ads can be purchased through programmatic guaranteed deals. Advertisers can activate these directly from advertisers’ existing DSP.
Catalina Salazar, global head of advertising at Deliveroo and Wolt, said: “Programmatic is where advertisers and agencies already spend their time, and increasingly their budgets.
“By making our highest-reaching ad space available through Google Ad Manager, we’re removing the friction between where brands want to buy and where their customers demonstrate intent and engagement, giving them guaranteed, high-attention moments at scale.”

Deliveroo Media is continuing to invest and build its infrastructure to develop its ad ecosystem, offering greater targeting and data signals. The Order Tracker page is part of that investment offering high reach ad placements within the Deliveroo app. If they get this right, it could open a huge advertising potential for both Deliveroo and brands.
